Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog! Throughout the course of these next several weeks I will be posting about my experience in EDUC 4P01.

My goals and expectations for this blog are as follows:
I will use course readings and material learned in lecture to reflect upon my, albeit, limited experiences. I expect that this blog will grow with me. As I continue in this course I will become more comfortable in my ability to successfully, and entertainingly, connect to teachings of the course. So, if you are not a fan of my first few posts, please stick around because more than likely, it will get better and I will have more to offer.
Since posts are expected to be around 500 words, a goal I have is to reflect thoughtfully. I will purposefully choose whether or not each sentence deserves to be included in my posts. When writing I have a habit of allowing my scattered-brain to roam free. It is important to me to not only reflect upon the course material but to reflect on my reflections (or, reflect-ception). Ensuring that I am truly inputting my best work.

Blog Name:
When brain-storming for the title of this blog I thought of a few different options. I first started with "Kennedy's Blog of Educational Prowess" but quickly decided against it. The title is guilty of using big words in an attempt to sound important when really, the title gives no hint of what the blog will be about. Settling upon "STEM in Relation to a Very Arts-Brained Student" sets some expectations. Firstly, It allows readers to understand my background. Though I did have an issue with this as well. The title could be taken as an attempt to implicitly excuse my lack of knowledge in STEM given my background of humanities. I do not mean it in this way and instead want to show off my reflection skills in spite of my background knowledge relating more to the humanities.

So please, if you are ever so inclined, stick around and enjoy the next five posts that are to come within the next several weeks. I hope you enjoy the content in which I will reflect upon as well as the visual aspects of pictures (and possible videos/links).  Thank you for taking this time to explore my blog and I hope you will find your way back soon!
